command zone arc replacement
« on: August 16, 2004, 04:45:50 PM »
i posted this under the what ball would u like to see remade section, but thought it would get more replies here:

does anyone know of any ball similar to the command zone arc (low rg strong solid reactive) that is made today? if so could you pm me with your ideas? this was a great ball to use on heavier patterns and really had a strong heavy roll which i loved. i was thinking something along the lines of the inferno? but im more of a fan of mid priced stuff so then i was thinking the new zone classic?

The Inferno is a suitable replacement IMO.  Or an Ultimate with alot of polish.  The Arc was way aggressive for me and great on the heavier side of mediums.  Now that I have the Inferno(obviously more aggressive than the arc, but the same strong read in the midlane) I find myself using my Arc less and less even though I shot great numbers with it over the summer.

I don't know if Brunswick has abandoned N'Control, they haven't used it since Frenzy, but I'd like to see it back.

If you want to stay with Brunswick, I think a shiny Nemesis would be close.  If the choice of ball company isnt an issue, a shiny V2 wouldnt be a bad thing.  I spent awhile with my Brunswick stuff trying to match the reaction I used to get from my polished V2's, and the Command Arc is on the money, lucky for me I was able to find 2 NIB. Good luck.
