My 13lb Zone Classic hits like a 16lb ball!
« on: January 31, 2005, 10:29:18 AM »
I usually use 14lb ball, but because of injury, I decided to switch to 13lb for a few months, and just use one reactive ball and one spare ball in league.

So I bought a 13lb Zone Classic 3 weeks ago, and after ANOTHER good week in league, I can say that this is one damn good ball!

I don’t own enough balls to say that this is the best ball ever, but I think it’s safe to say that Zone Classic is the bargain of 2004. I just cannot believe how inexpensive Brunswick is selling this ball.

This hitting power of this ball is unreal, and tonight in the league, I swear that my Zone Classic has the best reaction compare to other player’s.  Go long, hard turn at break point and then a continuous ‘drive’ towards the pins.

With box finish, this ball can easily cover med-light to med-heavy, so in other words, my normal THS league condition and most tournament conditions. This ball does not perform well when there is heavy carry down at the backend, but then again it was never meant for that kind of condition.

I’ve only played about 40 games with this ball, but the way things are going, this ball has a very good chance to become the best ball I’ve ever owned.  (Currently held by Original Inferno and Track EMB XF. Followed closely by Ultimate Inferno – my tournament ball – not enough oil to use it in league and practice, see my profile for arsenal)

Thanks to everyone who ‘helped’ me in selecting the Zone Classic.

Pound for pound, Zone Classic may well be the hardest hitting ball.

Bargain of 2004 definitely.

BTY I want an Impulse Zone and an Absolute Inferno, don’t need them, but I want them!
