Fury Success
« on: March 01, 2007, 10:47:43 AM »
For the first HS match I have used my fury in, I did something I never thought I would do. We were at a new house for the season, one nobody on the team had been to "in season". I ended up being put in the elite list of HS bowlers to shoot 500+ for Match play(2 games) with a 503. I went 236 and 267 for both games, only 35 pins from the school record. I averaged an astounding 251.3, which I have never come close to averaging.
If you dont have a fury, get off the computer, and go order one. I promise you wont regret it. This ball is the monster we have all been waiting for. Its not money, Ric, its pure gold.

Great shooting again i say this ball is better the TNV, reads the lane better and always makes a consistent reaction to the pocket.

Thanks mrbowlingnut, and Yes I think that the TNV and Fury are very close to each other, but the Fury does come out on top. I have seen a TNV absolutely haul some serious butt at tournys and in league. I am the only person that I know of around here with a fury. Half the people around here dont even know what a Fury is.

Also, I just found out that our conference tourny is in the same house where i bowled the scores above^^^. w00t! Cant wait to bowl there again.

nice shooting man. I haven't got the chance to pick up a fury yet, will probably wait awhile. I've heard that the Tnv and Fury are similar, so i'll see if i like the Tnv.
I remember back in the good old days( about 6 months) when i was still in HS, and we had a home match play. 524 (300) with an ambush that really didn't see much action on the lanes.

i'd give anything to be in HS bowling tourneys again.
keep it up

I have the fury and tnv both at 1000 and polished for me the fury is more consistent reaction reading the lanes. Not saying i do not like the tnv is above average and has huge sales so far, but for me the diamond shape torsion core works better as any diamond buzzsaw core has. Not starting the diamond trouble just saying the core shape has always worked for me well.

Just stating what we are seeing coming out of Mexico Ric no need to try and flame me for posting about the quality of equipment you are producing. Maybe you should worry more about quality instead of ridiculing me for my accurate comments.

Nope not really Megamav I'm actually a pretty reserve and quiet guy in real life.
I didn't flame or slam anyone just posted a true statement.

What you posted was a subjective statement, not a true one.

Since you're so reserved, how about reserving an opening on a local bridge to fit your car through.

That's great that quality problems are being corrected and attended to. But it doesn't mean they weren't happening.

And your point? Every company has hiccups here and there.

Hell, I have a NIB Tsunami in the shop that is a 1/2" pin in a box marked 3-4", but I don't go into the Lane 1 forum saying their quality standard is subpar.

And since this thread is completely hijacked (sorry Chrispy), I have seen little to no variation of surfaces or colors in any of the Fury's and Totals. That doesn't speak for every ball out there, but I see my fair share.

i think it's funny how you have all this negativity for
non american made products. that's fine and all but,
you fail to realize that pretty much everything you purchase
now a days is not american made. are you gonna boycott all
the other stuff too? if that's the case you would be running
around with no clothes and not having a car, and the only food
you would eat is what you grow.

get over it because i wouldn't be a bit surprised if all the rest
of the ball manufacturers fallowed suit. one day they will just
like everything else.

brunswick, just keep producing awesome eqipment like you have and
i'm here for life.

Actually, I am positive that the ball was swapped out after Lane 1 received it. The label on the front of the box was ripped off, but the top one was intact.
