After a few game a couple of nights ago, I noticed there was a crack line that runs between the index and third hole. As the Pro Shop was closed that night, I have to wait till tonight to show it to the Pro Shop guy. After examining the crack, he decided to remove the plug and to my surprise, the white interior material that is between the index and third finger plug has turned into powder.
The Pro Owner told me what he can do is to fill up the hole and re-plug again.
My question is will when the Pro shop guy suggested to do last ? I just brought my Punisher two months ago... sign....... :-(

i think you can capture a picture of the ball and submit to brunswick. i believe they will do something to it.
but the funny thing is ..how come it turn into powder?
-
Was the ball plugged, or are you talking about the finger inserts? Sorry, it just sounds like maybe you mean the inserts since you said the pro shop removed them.
I remember reading something about the Punisher being held up for a manufacturing reason, but I don't remember what it was - maybe a quality issue?
I hope I don't have a problem with my Nemesis - I love that ball!

Sorry my mistake..it's the inserts and not plug. I did not have a cam at that moment and anyway he has already filled up the hole....But he told me that the supplier told him that if inserts are used that the warranty will be void as inserts needs larger holes but don't know how true......

That is true.

I put 30 games on a brand new nemesis and a crack developed that completely circled my finger holes. I took the ball back to the shop that sold and drilled it for me and they replaced it with a brand new ball.
However, looks like there might be a trend with these BVP balls cracking as I have heard about another one doing the same.
Regardless, you should be getting a replacement ball, not a plugged ball.

I might write to Brunswick and asked for their advice. Anyone hare have their customer service email address....thanks

Actually, the shop that sold it to you should follow the warranty procedure through their distributor. If the ball cracked or fell apart inside due to a manufacturing flaw, Brunswick will stand behind it. Most shops, including my own, will replace it on the spot and then have the distributor credit them so that the customer is taken care of in a timely fashion.
Obviously we regret the inconvenience this creates, but as with any ball manufacturer, there will always be defects that get out into the publics hands. All we can do is insure that we will stand behind our product and see if we can detect and resolve the source of the problem to eliminate future flaws.
