What is the difference in the roll between these two balls? Which ball has the most recovery?

King......I'm speaking in general. Are these balls skid snap or more of arch type?

I had both as well, but I can't provide a very accurate comparision.  I had the sapphire when it first came out and it was a great ball.  It was my favorite Brunswick ball ever, until the Inferno came along.  I would still have the sapphire if it wasn't 16lbs.  I don't think the PK17 could handle the amount of oil most centers put on the lanes today.

The DZ was/is a great ball.  The PK18 is, in my opinion, the greatest coverstock EVER made.  It has proven itself over time, from the mid 90's to mid 00's.  I sold mine to a friend and he really loves it.  It is drilled pin above ring, cg stacked below.  Very smooth at the breakpoint, consistent readable reaction.

Danger Zone is a fluffer's special: huge flip at the backend, for very little effort.
Sapphire Zone is a bowler's ball: strong  ball with much less over/under than the DZ.
DZ handles slightly more oil, but not a lot more.

i had both balls and loved them both. the sapphire blue zone was my first ball from brunswick it had a great roll. then the danger zone came along and this ball REALLY had a great roll. since that time powrkoil 17 and 18 have proven themselves as great reactive coverstocks.

If they were drilled the same......could they be a 1-2 combo?

how does the sapphire zone compare to the storm razor wire? Will these two overlap?
