Title: need help with ball replacement
Post by: gunnercrazeee on February 10, 2007, 10:17:50 PM
hey guys. my current arsenal consists of the agent, ambush and scorchin' inferno. i need replacements for the ambush and scorchin' but i can't really decide. can u guys help?

i'm a right bowler with average revs, high track and ball speed of about 18 mph. i don't really know how to see the angle of rotation, all i know is my roll is not too forward or too extreme. i like to play the inside line(not too deep) and have my breakpoint at around the 8 board.

any help is appreciated. thanks a lot!

well what do you want your new arsenal to do? do you want a backend arc to replace the ambush? do you want a more agressive ball than a scorchin'?

basically, i need a ball that can handle carrydown(a pearl particle) and a ball that can handle oily lanes. i don't wanna use the scorchin' again because it did not work really well for me. thanks

oops, i forgot to state that i want a stronger ball than my ambush(pin on bridge above fingers) for the pearl particle ball(or rough buff or solid). as for oily lanes, i want a ball that is more snappy and less dull than the scorchin' inferno.

Have you changed the surface yet on the Ambush?  If not, you might want to try scuffing it.
