Title: Next Vintage Line
Post by: BowlingforSoup on October 09, 2015, 12:35:40 PM
Curious if they will keep this line going.I have the Gold Rhino Pro really like it on the THS.What would everybody like to see.I think maybe the Purple Rhino Pro Solid with same core as Gold.Coverstock being stronger and lower rg.I think LT-48,Gold Pro and a solid would cover most anything. For heavier oil the Masterminds or Nirvana and you are set.Maybe Brunsnick can give us a clue.

We plan to keep this line for time to come. The Vintage Series has been great for us and for bowlers, and as a lot of you know, I'm all about the old school stuff!

If you guys remade the Danger Zone HPD I will ditch all my current Storm stuff. It is my favorite ball of all time. Also the Quantums would definitely catch a lot of interest.

My money is on the Danger Zone. One of the most iconic balls of that decade and a Brunswick favorite.

I'd love to see a Riot Zone, but since they no longer use those super-hard particles, there's not much of a chance of see one.

Me too.  Brunswick only sold about 100,000,000,000 of them.  Wanna sell some more? ;)

Only reason I doubt a Danger Zone is becauze they supposently remade it with the Karma (or at least that's what I was told).

Keep in mind just because they made a ball like the Danger Zone (Karma) using a bulb core and PK18 cover doesn't mean they couldn't do a vintage line of the ball. They use completely different cores and covers from the original, kinda like a modern version of the ball.

Overseas had a Green Quantum, Danger Zone, Purple Rhino, and a Edge already.......with a new Phantom on the way

Phantom reboot?!!! I want one! First asymmetrical ball. Now that would be a good one.

any vintage Quantum would be a winner in my book, too. And now that I think about it more, maybe that is what's coming next. After all, Mo had those giant mushroom cores in his Motion series balls towards the end of the Morich days.

Would love to see the Danger Zone, Danger Zone HPD, or any Quantum being released in this line as well.

I have a feeling that this next one will be a urethane release since a urethane ball is missing in the Brunswick line right now...possibly another Rhino. Would definitely be a great asset for the PBA Wolf and other short patterns that the Pitch Blacks and Blue Hammers (and AMF Sumo's that the Korean teams are dominating with) are covering right now.

Notice in the reboot it has a symmetric core.

Also know those cores used in the motion were Brunswick cores used in some of the Bruiser line along with several Revolution series balls.

Morich used them shortly before going out of business.

The LT-48 and Gold's are great balls but I was really disappointed that they weren't remakes.  I'm tired of the same old "modern oil" and the need for updated coverstock excuse.  I'm bowling a league where I'm using a Thunderstruck Pearl and it's too much ball at times and I'm thinking of going to an old El Nino 2000.

I could easily use a ball from that "era" and have no problems.

Plenty of balls from that era are for sell all over the internet. Go to ebay, or facebook and pick some of your favs from the late 90s to early 2000s and enjoy.

Would love to see the Quantums re-released. Since getting some of my retro stuff lately, a mint NitroR2 and an original V2, have shot 671-776-705-743-695 in last 2 weeks. Not bad with the balls being 20+yrs old.

I do like the idea of a Phantom.I had the black and the crimson back in the day.Maybe they could bring back the old core and use urethane since they do not have a urethane ball.A guy I bowl with still uses an original Phantom when lanes are toasty and has shot some good scores with it.

I like your idea here since it would fill a gap.  Question is which of the 3 Phantom balls would you want re-released? (Black, Blue or Red)

Didn't the ultra zone have the phantom core or a modified version of it?

It was a good ball...I know someone who still has one and will whip yo' blank with one ha-ha..

Ultra zone did. Core was modified because the RG was too low for todays. Small change

Quantums without the 300$ price tag would be ok.My pic would be the helix shot lots of good scores with it.Helix for 99$ gets my vote :D

Cost of production would never allow for price that low on the Helix.
