Absolute Inferno complements Total Inferno?
« on: November 26, 2006, 07:28:46 PM »
Would they have to be drilled differently in order to complement each other?

That is, is there enough basic designed-in differencees between these two ballssuch that you can  drill them the same, so that the Absolute would cover medium to medium-heavy oil while the Total would cover medium-heavy to almost heavy oil?

Thank you, Ric.

Can I assume those videos had all the balls drilled the same?

how about the Absolute compared to the red zone, both drilled the same?

i drilled a red zone sunday. i was amazed at how much it flared. It was clean through the fronts, and gave me a flippy reaction on the backend. It was my go to ball when the Awesome Revs was to early. I have an Absolute sitting here, was wondering if drilling it the same as the Red Zone would be bad?

In comparing the Red Zone and Absolute is one is symmetrical and the other is asymmetrical, so one of the variables is where the PSA (mass bias) is located.
How is your Red Zone laid out?

The differences between the Red Zone and the Absolute is cover stock and cores. The Red Zone is original Activator solid and the Absolute is Actvator Plus. The cores are different RG numbers, the Red Zone is a higher RG than the Absolute, so the Absoute is going to be earlier and smoother than the Red Zone, yet the cover on the Absolute is stronger overall.

Hope this explains the differences.

So the Activator+ Pearl cover is stronger than Activator Solid or is it the rough buff vs. polish?

I have a Red in box finish drilled 5" by 60 degrees, and an Absolute at high gloss drilled 5" pin-above, and that's *exactly* what I'm seeing with these two pieces.  The Red is pushier and sharper at the break, but the Absolute hooks about two to three boards more overall.

i say to myself the same words  like charlest.

i have one absolute inferno.. and is the most PowerBALL  plus control i never have...

my last games 279, 235, 256. And what is the big deal... well in this moment i just play the monday´s ligue becuase the the tournaments  is over for this year.

i really need to read a review about the new Total and if this ball is the new one ABSOLUTE with a little more advantages.
i´m  wating too...
