Ultimate Nirvana VS Nirvana
« on: February 17, 2016, 03:39:23 PM »
Does anybody have both yet? The Ultimate looks like a really nice ball and from most of the videos I've seen it seems just about as strong as the original but with a better look down lane. And that's with the new incarnation at 500/4000 instead of 500/1500. My eyes have deceived me before though so any input/confirmation would be much appreciated.

My Original is a lot smoother and hooks more in the front part of the lane for me.  My Ultimate hooks about the same amount, but more down lane reaction than the original.  I am able to use the Ultimate Nirvana on a wider range of conditions also compared to my Nirvana with the cover being hybrid.

I second what Chris stated I see the same reaction, the ultimate has a faster response to friction and to me u see more on the backend

For me, I play a few boards closer to friction with the Ultimate.  Both are very clean through the front, with the Nirvana more forgiving with oil volume, and the Ultimate a bigger move down lane once the shot starts opening up.  They are an excellent combo on the fresh.  Start with Nirvana and end with Ultimate.

It kind of sounds like the Ultimate Nirvana is fairly similar to the Guru Supreme. Am I way off on that?
