BVP Goliath

Is there any hope for this ball?

I have yet to find a condition where this ball is of much use.

The only good thing about the Goliath is when it touches the pocket, it really touches the pocket.

Perhaps I will just sell it for cheaps.

You try polishing it yet?  I used a polished Goliath on a hard wet-dry house shot, and it evened out the lane.

Maybe I will try that this weekend.

The ball is a monster when it comes close to the pocket but it seems way to condition specific.

Maybe I can unload a few balls and get the Mammoth instead.

my best look on the pba regional pattern #2( 36' of oil ) was with the goliath. wetsanded 320 grit this ball was great from outside the first arrow.  in league it was great when the lanes were slick. you may not be seeing enough oil to tap the full potential of this ball. try wetsanding it to a finer grit( say 2,000 ) and try it again. you could also polish it and it will still roll well.

Nah...unload a few balls and wait for the Total.

I really liked my Goliath once I polished hte cover.  I sanded it to 800 grit and hit it with ebonite particle polish, followed by extender...  this helped it get down the lane a little w/out burning up so much.  For me it worked well on medium to medium-heavy oil.

I thought of selling them but I would have to do it locally since shipping from Hawaii is going to cost at least $25 or more.
