Ordered a Maxxx zone....

I ordered a Maxxx zone from my local pro shop about a week ago. I'm getting it drilled up tomorrow. I'm currently throwing a Twisted Fury (Pearl). Obviously the Maxxx zone is going to be much stronger and roll earlier, but what else can I expect? I'm a stroker, medium revs, medium ball speed. Typically play pretty straight. Looking for input from those who have tossed it. Thanks!

You should see a ball that's going to help read the lane earlier, yet still finish with some angle to the pocket. Not a pearl reactive type angle, but a nice finish.
You may need to tweak the cover a little for playing straighter, maybe a little shine, or 2000 - 4000 abralon depending on how much oil you are using it on. The less surface you keep it at, the more length and angular it will be AFTER you move closer to friction. I've tried mine at various surfaces and have settled in on about 600 plus Snake Oil polish for the normal house shots I see.

Dear lord this ball is strong! I bought it for my friday night league. This league tends to see more oil/carrydown than my others. Likely partly due to the fact that this house has synthetic lanes. My Twisted Fury usually tends to just skid through the oil and hits kind of weak. I threw the first ball in practice and crossed over...Needless to say this was the least oil i've seen in that league all season long. Threw it like three times then had to put it away. FIGURES!

I threw mine about 6 games now on medium to heavy oiled lanes with box finish and was a little surprised on the length I was getting. I was expecting it to bite a little harder earlier. It still had to nice finish with some nice power. I may tweak it a little more to see what I can do with it.
