Brunswick ball labels

Why does Brunswick have to place all those large labels along the track area?
Take for instance the Inferno line. Brunswick puts so much emphasis on their coverstock yet you roll over those labels filled with whatever those colored things are. Would these labels not affect ball reaction?

Label and engraving placements are relative... it depends on the drilling and the individual ball where they end up. Even though I'd also prefer a complete "free" track area, the traction effect should be minimal unless you have the bad luck to have a straight line going exactly the way of your track - end even then you might not hit it every time you throw the ball.

I have an Absolute and a Radical drilled pin under and over ring finger respectively and unfortunately both track over the "B" and the Inferno logos. The only way I could have a label free track is if these were drilled label or finger holes below the "B". This annoyed me when I happened to purchase the Radical with the overfilled label and it went "grrrrrr" down the lane.So I had it sanded to even it up but then pits came out from the engraving.
