Short answer, no. Anything now would be miles from a ball introduced in 1994. Comparing apples from then to apples today, I would look at a Melee Cross. Both are dull out of the box, but shine up well. Both are more versatile rather than focused on a specific pattern.

If you want something with a similar reaction shape that would be a weaker choice on a modern shot, then look at a blue Ringer. It would still be stronger today than an LE would be, but not by leaps and bounds. Again, it's dull and pretty versatile.   

The Rhino Pro LE is still one of my favorite Big B balls.  Solid cover with a high flaring core that could be used on a wide variety of conditions.  The LE was the first ball where I saw the benefits of going with a longer pin (5.5" to PAP) because of the increased flare.

I actually like the Melee Cross suggestion.  Very versatile solid that can cover a lot of conditions. Dull it can work on heavier patterns and polished on medium-light, just like the LE.

I don't agree that the LE was just a lightbulb core.  It was a far different core than the Teal/Rhino Pro cores.

While it had a higher differential than most "plain"light bulb cores, its shape certainly looks like a light bulb.

With the PK 17 solid coverstock, it seems like it should have been a good rolling ball. Strong back then, medium oil now. Whoever compared it to the Blue Ringer was probably close.

Looks aside, its dynamic properties are nothing like an Avalanche/Rack Attack and similar reinventions of the light bulb.  I at one point had 4 LE's in my bag because it's high flaring core and cover was so versatile for that timeframe.  It flared almost triple what a Teal Rhino Pro did, especially for "weak" pins.

The Ringer is a great ball but it's lower flaring core is not as versatile as the Melee IMHO.  It's also a little finicky to oil downlane where the Cross handles carry down much better.  I'd honestly say it's a similar comparison of the LE vs Teal Rhino for back then vs the Cross vs Ringer for today.   All depends on your needs.
