Danger Zone?

Hey. I have a BVP Rampage which is good most of the time, but sometimes it doesn't quite get back to the pocket well enough. Obviously changing where I stand on the approach solves this issue to a certain degree, but I am just wondering whether a Danger Zone would be worth considering?

This is roughly how the Rampage is drilled:

I have an Ultimate Inferno which is basically useless for me at the house I bowl at, it rolls out and hasn't got the hitting power. However I like its controlled and smooth hooking action into the pocket, and have been wondering if this could be achieved with a Danger Zone. Any information I know about myself is in my profile.

a danger zone is always worth considering.

if you buy one, you wont regret it.

It will fit perfectly between the rampage and ultimate.

since you've already spent the money on an ultimate inferno why not try and solve the rolling out problem ? i'm assuming the ball is still in box finish( 800 grit wetsand )---you may not be seeing enough oil to use it that way. or your ball speed may be too slow. first try wetsanding it to a finer grit. try wetsanding with a 4,000 grit abralon pad and see what kind of reaction you get. if that really isn't what you are looking for try polishing it as well. surface alterations to the coverstock cost a lot less than the price of a new ball and the results just might surprise you.

Thanks for the replies! I was gonna get the Ultimate polished up on Wednesday to see if that helped, but if you suggest taking the surface up to a finer grit then I will get that done first. Thanks again.
