Vertigo vs AI
« on: February 26, 2005, 08:47:40 AM »
Being very honest up front... Gonna post this in both forums and see what kind of honesty or spin I get....

Has anyone actually thrown the AI vs the Vertigo with similar layouts and can give me +/- of each?

TIA

I have 2 vertigo's drilled as I throw storm equipment. However, I have 2 absolute inferno's to drill. Have not thrown a high performance Brunswick since the eliminator. I have several friends that bowl regionals and they really like the absolute and told me to try them.

To clarify what tburky said, on a house shot the absolute does out hook the Ultimate in most peoples hands.  The Ultimate burns up easily unless polished, remember the ultimate is a heavy oil ball, which isn't about hook, its about turning the corner and scoring when there is alot of oil and carrydown.

if AI stands for ABSOLUTE INFERNO then that ball, from what this site says, is for medium to light oil. if you want an inferno for heavy oil then you want the ULTIMATE INFERNO. that is the ball in the INFERNO line that will hook early naturally.
