Quantums 14lb vs 15lb numbers
« on: February 06, 2019, 11:51:27 AM »
I normally don't pay attention to numbers, but there is quite a difference between the 2 weights in RG and Diff numbers. I just went to 14lb and am apprehensive on getting them in 14. Anybody know if there is much difference in reactions on the Quantums in 14 vs 15 lbs.

Any "2 piece" ball like the Quantums, Poison, Honey Badger have significant differences from 14 to 15.

What I've learned in my potential drop to 14lbs is you just have to drill with a stronger layout to increase the core dynamics with some balls

So basically just do stronger drillings and i should be good. I do have a HB in 14lb and i dont see much difference in the hitting power. Thanks for the help

There actually isn't a big difference in the new Quantums compared to the honey badger. I forgot Brunswick used a slightly different core shape to keep the numbers similar

Honey Badger 14lb 2.64/.020/.003 vs 15lb 2.57/.041/.008

Black Quantum 14lb 2.61/.053 vs 15lb 2.56/.053

Ok my bad. I was comparing the numbers on the Bias/Bias Pearl
15lb 2.56  .052
14lb 2.64  .044
