absolute inferno

a buddy of mine just bought a used ai had it plugged and redrilled.the question is when the guy at the pro-shop redrilled it he drilled out the pin(ring finger hole there now). i know on a new ball this viods the warranty, dut does this mess up performace of the ball?

No, it doesn't adversely affect the performance of the ball.  I've even heard from some pro shop operators that drilling through the pin will make the bridge less susceptible to cracking, as compared to drillings with the pin near one of the finger holes.
