Title: Radical Inferno or............
Post by: HighRevvin on November 14, 2007, 04:27:27 AM
I'm looking for something that will give me your traditional skid/snap reaction in hopes of picking it up when my Attitude Sift starts losing too much energy in the front part of the lane. I have some decent stuff that will be very predictable off the break point but would like something to give me a different look at the pocket when I want something with more entry angle.  I know a lot have struggled throwing high polished pearls in fresh conditions because they like the high entry angle just to find themselves experiencing a lot of over/under reactions, I won't be using this on fresh conditions. So with this in mind what are your opinions on the Radical Inferno…. also thinking about the No Mercy Beat'N. I'd consider the Fuze Pearl but from what I've seen it's a little rollier in the dry spot of the lane. Thanks for any opinions.

^^^ A.R. will be too rolly in my opinion. You could wait a bit and pick up a 'Nsane LevRG, which should be uber-angular.

From Brunswick, maybe a Twisted Fury...though it might skid too far and not pick up enough. In short, it might be too big of a step down from your Attitude Shift. Then again, I haven't thrown one, so I can't really comment on it.

You could also consider a Track Kinetic or a Roto Grip Illusion or an AMF Night Hawk Pearl.

I'd have to agree with the opinion the Awesome Revs being too much, ball can handle oil but may be just as strong if not stronger in the middle then my Attitude Shift. I'll look into the suggested balls, actually have the original Night Hawk and find it glides through dry heads and is great for overall predictability on light oil with my speed and game.

So any opinion on the Radical.... Marked to be more angular than the Twisted Fury. The great thing is there's still some left on Ebay.

Twisted Fury polished and around 45 degree MB with x hole. I really like mine in this layout.

Yeah, the AR is very rolly! Great ball if that is what you are looking for though.
