No.  The balls are designed to be either right or left handed depending on the placement of the urethane strip.  These balls could only be drilled one way, all depending on your track.

Hardly, due to it's unique design it is more prone to being condition specific than most other balls.  Basically, if it doesn't carry the corners, put it away.

My helix was the best ball out of the bag. I picked up my LH 16lb on ebay for 60 shipped NIB. Won me back to back high school tournaments.

I remember watching Walter Ray on TV with it, he had some bad taps.
