The color mix on the new ball is freakin fantastic! ... and it really reminds me a lot of the hit and roll of the Original Inferno.

im definately going to avoid this ball.

the absolute inferno for me is a ball that is borderline too aggressive.

ive come to the conclusion that people will never be satisfied.

people expect to swing the ball on heavy oil, even with this ball, dont expect it.

just like the smokin inferno, dont expect to see this ball on PBA telecasts.

It will go over very well with once a week league bowlers that see nothing but THS.  I like the looks of the wizard, just by the video.  I always wanted to try the Nemesis, but I never got around to it.  Thankfully brunswick will always have this reaction in the lineup.

I hear ya, Mav

I've got a fairly aggressive drill on my Absolute and with a pattern similar to the Cheetah pattern, is a lot like the Radical looks like in the video in terms of hook type/shape/amount.  I think I'd be looking about 3-5 boards left on the approach and at least 2 on the lane to have much success.  On the other hand....lol!

how about a 1 color solid inferno (Black), Low RG Inferno Core/Polished PK18. (i'd buy it)

call it the Extinguished Inferno.

the wave of hockey stick reaction balls are making me ill.

The Radical sure is pretty.  Nick had his hands on the prettiest one at the Mini but got denied and had to settle for seconds....lol...My Radical is very close to the Original Inferno but a little stronger on the backend.  This ball is gonna be huge this year.  My Red Zone outflips anything is my bag and thats alot of balls.....

The video looked good, but honestly I have to wonder about it...I've never seen an Absolute look that tame on the backend. It's almost like they drilled and/or altered the surface and/or dressed the lane to emphasize that.

I'd like to see the comparison if the Absolute was finished the same way as the Radical, i.e., 400 high gloss, and both were drilled identical with similar pin-to-CG and top weight stats. The cores are the same, so then the only true variable would be the coverstock.

they probably had a shot witch had dry outside 8 or so, if you watch its like they feed the radical to the dry while keeping the absolute in the oil, witch was probably too much for it to handle, hence the trip 5

I bet that's what they did.  The absolute looked like it was struggling in the oil the first couple shots.  The absolutes that I have seen some league bowlers throw had awesome reactions.

Who kwos they may have done that for marketing purpose or giving one an idea fo how to use them in an arsenal.

I just watched the vid again and it does seem like they kept it in the oil the first couple of shots.  They did get it out a little one a shot and it had more hook but still a smooth reaction on the back end.  I guess it really depends how it's drilled.  I have seen the absolute react very strong in the back end during league.

I like the looks of the inferno line.  I like that there symmetrical.  I'm going to pick up the absolute and the radical.

The RI reminds me much of my S&A with the pin above the ring, MB stacked. The AI looks VERY tame in the video, and it was played rather straight, not so far to the outside as the RI. This would suggest some dry outside boards which create the sharp and very consistant breakpoint of the video. I was also wondering about this, because the SMI - even while going straighter - breaks sharper than the AI.

Nevertheless, the RI looks nice in the sequences. Looking forward to see one one the local lanes.

Dewd!  Look at the line they put on that ball!  It hooks so much that you can sweep it out by the gutter and hit the headpin without hitting any other pins.  Now THAT is something...  Wait I am getting it...  It's Radical!

Going by that you would need to loft it over the gutter from the lane to the left.

First they had peanut butter, then chunky peanut butter, then extra chunky peanut butter, now they have extreme chunky peanut butter.  I opened up the jar and its just peanuts.  I went to spread it on a piece of bread.  (mocks difficult spreading of peanut butter)  Its RADICALLLL!!!!!!!!!

I would have liked to see the Smokin inferno thrown with the others.  I would have really been interested to see how he moved to strike with the Smokin' and how similar the Smokin's breakpoint was.  It is also intreesting to note that although one looks at the ball and sees it as just the next skid snapper, but rather than using the higher rg weight block of either the Smoking or the Blazing, they used the Ultra Low RG.  This cover must really get down lane easy.

Yes, the RI looks very promising. I also wondered how Brusnwick would get a low RG symmetrical core with a polished (pure?) reactive coverstock to handle that much oil, and still have this hard break point. Very clean, at least in the video. This sounds and looks really to be a "next generation" coverstock from Activator and its derivates. Imagine putting a higher RG core into it... the "100" break point ball? Also interesting to see that the SI has been "downrated" once more with the advent of the RI, from a 95 breakpoint to "only" a 90. And I just imagined putting Octane on a high MB MoRich Vanguard core... hell on wheels?
