Title: rampage......almost perfect
Post by: DON DRAPER on December 02, 2007, 01:55:42 PM
i had a 299 game saturday night with my bvp rampage. the rampage was the only ball i used in shadow balls as my reaction looked great-----medium speed, end-over-end roll, straight down 8. i had just got the ball back friday after it had been run through the rejuvenator and a generous coat of brunswicks factory finish high gloss polish had been applied. game #1 was very good---236 with three ringing 10's and a solid 8. game #2 wasn't so great----204 with a split and several more ringing 10's and a solid 9. game #3 saw the first seven all being high flush. #8 was a can-opener strike---rare for me. the ninth was high flush. the 10th was slightly high but a tripped 4 helped. #11 was also slightly high as the 7-9 were the last two to fall. the 12th shot looked great but in hindsight i probably pulled it a hair and the entry angle was just different enough to leave a ringing 10. oh well, better luck next time. my last three tries at a 300 have all been 299's with ringing 10's. maybe the next time i need #12 i'll go brooklyn and carry !

People should not assume that because the Rampage, Wizard, and Sidewinder are mid-priced, that they will get anything less than a GREAT ball. Nice shooting!
