Replies seem to have become fixated on "Rough Buff". While I appreciate the respones,
Any Brunswick tech people have the answer to my Power Groove finish question??

So,

1) Are the Power Groove reactive pearls finsihed with the same process as the Infernos: 400 grit sanding followed by Brunswick High Gloss Polish?

2) What the heck is Brunswick's Rough Buff, as specified inthe finish of the Absolute?  I mean, since it's obviously a matte finsih, to what final grit does the ball become: 1000, 1200, 1500?

3) Where can I get it? (Please don't tell me local pro shop; that doesn't work.) The online places has Brunswick's High Gloss polish and Remove All. They don't have Rough Buff.

Thank you.

charlest,

I have talked to my local "Brunswick Boss" here in Atlanta on these issues before.  If im not mistaken, all polished finished Brunswick Balls are 400 grit sanded then polished with Brunswick High Gloss.  Also, the "rough buff" is a compound finish that WILL come in a bottle.  I was told I would be able to order some for my shop around the end of March/first of April.
