Hmmm...
« on: August 02, 2006, 04:37:14 PM »
I can get a Scorchin' for $20 and nothing needs to be changed. Everything fits perfectly. The only problem is, I use 15 lb. and the Scorchin' is 16 lb. However, I got my Action Packed today and it is 16 lb. Should I get it?

For $20, deffinitely pick it up. You can turn around and sell it for then that. Plus you might actually like the  extra pound.

Well I tried my Action Packed today and do not find that I can't put as many revs or as much speed. I know if I used it all the time I'd get tired easier, but I don't plan on using a Scorchin' Inferno game after game. The lanes would eventually get too dry for it.k Plus, it's drilled for heavy. It's the 1E layout. The pitches are fine and everything. The thumb hole is just a tiny bit big, but I have some black tape to take care of that!

I'd buy it, especially since you won't have to put more money into it for plugging and drilling.  If you don't like it, and it's any kind of good shape, you can sell it as a first-drill (if it is) for way more than $20.

It is first drill, shelley. And like I said I used my 16 lb. Action Packed yesterday and felt no real difference.
