Any info on this ball???
« on: April 20, 2006, 01:36:31 AM »
Below is the description of the Shrek Reactive ball currently being sold on eBay.  Does anyone have any info on this ball?  What coverstock was used?  What weight block?  I figure it is older technology that was put together in this ball, just wanted to know.  I wrote Brunswick and they claimed that it was a polyester ball with a pancake weight block, but I think they misunderstood and was telling me about the Shrek viz-a-ball.  Any help would be appreciated.

Scott

We have an exclusive on this great looking Brunswick Reactive Green SHREK LE ball. This Green reactive ball feature the Dreamworks character, SHREK on the side. Below you will find Brunswick's technical write-up on this ball but keep in ind you will not find this SHREK ball anywhere but here.

Ready to start hooking the ball? Move up from Plastic to Reactive coverstock technology. Compared to Plastic, Reactive coverstock technology increases traction and hooking action in the oil, and Reactive coverstocks can be sanded or shined to create large differences in hook potential. Reactive coverstocks also respond more aggressively to dry lane surfaces the Urethane coverstocks, increasing backend hooking action and hitting power.
