I pulled out my hyroad last night which was in the same tote bag as my LT-48, which sat in storage for over a season last year.......well, the hyroad had lost its scent and now smells like the chemical induced LT-48.
I've had two other hyroads and they kept their scent. My old breeze still smells... SO does my LT-48 after using CnD and other cleaners to drown the chemical paint thinner smell.
Since this ball is such o/u with different surfaces I've tried and the layout I had asked to be laid out, this ball is going bye bye. At first I didn't mind the smell until I took a sip of my crown.... my hand smelt like paint thinner... going into the garbage..

I like this just because the deciding factor is that it messed with your drink. :)

Just curious, but have you contacted your PSO or possibly even Brunswick personally? This could be a long shot, but maybe you have a defective ball. I know some balls smell stronger than others, but from what your describing, it seems a little out of the ordinary. Just a thought and that ball should have never messed with a man's drink! LOL

My urethane ball has a funky smell as well but nothing compared to my epoxy ball which smells like hot solder and flux. Still I guess that is one edge to being a Storm fan you get to smell food and berries when you bowl so I could see it being jarring.
