Thinking of buying a classic zone!!!! Need the Nations Help!
« on: February 21, 2005, 12:23:58 PM »
I am currently using my out of box revmaster for mediums. Its very controllable. I use my cherry bomb, that is polished up, for medium to light. It works well after a league.

Now, from what I have heard already, getting control out of the classic zone is not going to happen. But, since I don't need a ball for control b/c I got the revmaster I'd like to try something that kills on the backend.

So Nation, does this sound like agood idea? A revmaster for control, and when the shot is right a zone to murder the backend (both on mediums)?  Will this ball fit my style? Specs in porfile.

Or is there a better ball for this? I only see med/hvy or oily at tournaments so I don't want anything made for those condtions.

LMK. Thanks.

Kyle

mmmmmmm, strange, my ZC has control AND backend, I own a RevMaster as well, but I haven't throw it enough to comment.

My Zone Classic is great, carry is exceptional compares to some other balls I own at the same condition.

Would the absolute inferno work here out of box (medium oil)?

Depends what reaction you want, BrunsRich, BrunsNick and others will be able to help you.

Mine is drilled pin under ring finger, PSA swung out 45 degree towards VAL.

Very nice ball, medium oil and clean backend is best for this ball, then again all balls are great with clean backend.

Can handle light carry down (at least for me), light-ish oil and spotty head as well.

Can't comment AI, don't own it, yet!

AI seems to be very strong, probably may give you a better read mid-lane than ZC. Starts rolling earlier. Will be able to handle a touch more oil than ZC.

Other Nation members will be able to tell you more.

I think I'd prefer the zone. Too bad buddies is still out of stock.

So, whats the best way to drill this zone for my style? I'd like a length with a hard backend.
