Rhino question
« on: July 31, 2021, 10:59:18 AM »
This ball has been around for quite a while but I've read very little about it.  If anyone is using it (on drier conditions) have you made a change in the surface and how did it work?  I haven't seen any of these in the leagues I bowl in so I really don't have a good read on the ball.  Any help would be appreciated.  Need something I can control but has some pop on the back end.  Will be using it on fairly dry conditions.

I do use mine when the lanes are drier. With the polish barely knocked off, it gives me enough movement to create miss room, without being "jumpy" off the breakpoint.

Thanks a lot.  I have hit mine with an old 4000 pad and am going to try it Monday.  I've been using an Ebonite Turbo-R and it's gotten to be a little too much unless I make a major move left.  Hope this will fit right under that.

I would agree, and sounds like a good plan.

The ball is just above some of the entry level stuff, but not as strong as the next step up.  It's all about matching up with your condition and managing friction.  My Rhino reads the friction as it should, but doesn't over read and become difficult to predict.  Carry has been outstanding, too.

On those conditions where people struggle due to over/under you'll be able to stay close to friction and marvel...  Sometimes I ask myself why I don't ALWAYS have my Rhino with me.

Thanks again.
