Drilled Twisted Fury
« on: March 03, 2008, 11:27:16 AM »
My friend wants to buy a Twisted Fury from one of the league bowler. He and the bowler's span is very close so he don't intend to re-plug it. Just a brief description of the drilling, pin is about half an inch above the ring finger, cg offset about an inch from center of grip and mb about an inch from thumb hole. What kind of reaction would we expect from this drilling ? and best for what type of lane condition ? Thanks !

well the twisted is meant to get a little distance, and with the pin above the finger it's going to get a little more more distance as well.  ball will be long and somewhat strong...it won't be too snappy (like mine, the cg is kicked way out and i have a balance hole).  twisted for me works on anything but house, unless super fresh heavy house.

mine is about the same drilling, pin right and above ring, almost touching the fingerhole, mb just right of thumb.  Still gets great length, strong movement in the back, I'm more a cranker, and it's still very controllable.  He'll love it.
