Title: Scorchin Inferno
Post by: Storm269 on July 17, 2006, 02:29:21 PM
Is it possible to sand the ball down to 400, give it a good polish and use this one for medium oil condition ?
The house that we are bowling in no longer have enough oil for us to use this  ball. And my friend has no enough cash to get a ball for medium oil...advice please....

You need to remember that the lower the grit, the earlier the ball will want to roll and burn up.  If you want to use the ball on medium oil, try taking it up to 1500 or 2000.  If your pro shop has 4000 abralon, try that.  It will get down the lane a little better.

I had one, took it and just put it in one of the new ball polishers for 2 minutes....did the trick for me.
