Not ready to review yet, but extremely impressed so far.
One of the Greatest balls for me ever was a Crimson Red Sledgehammer from faball drilled hook set 3 3/8 X 1 with a pap hole. Even smooth and big hitting on fresh backends.
I've always wanted to find a ball just like it but get just a touch more pop out of it in the back.
Drilled slightly flippier the Smash/r fits the bill. Drilled 4 X 4 weighthole on the Pap.(weighthole is angled 1/2 inch away from grip) One never sees it but it looks like it is only arcing(lots of midlane) until there is a little flip pop at the back(almost imperceptable) and then a big smash! Even works on some carrydown!
It is even cleaner thru the heads.
I've tried a ton of balls to get this reaction (see my number of reviews).
The closest I see is the Vortex II's both solid and pearl. The solid is earlier than the smash/r and a little flippier the pearl revs up harder and then flips very hard.
For some reason even though this ball is closer to the V2 solid it is almost something I could carry and cover both of their slots and also the Sledge unless the backs are very jumpy!!!
That seriously reduces the number of balls I would have to carry.
Smashing!

PS I like this ball so much better than the Red Fuze I can't believe it took me this long to use it. I could see getting the Frenzy too! For a cleaner head look!

i had a monster smashR and i loved it. when the swamp monster was too aggressive and the monster screamR didn't turn the corner the monster smashR was a great ball to go to.

I LOVE my Smash/R. However, just make sure you keep it really clean. It is an oil sponge, and loves to soak it up.

I start each day with yoga and meditation. I put my right foot under my left thigh. I put my left foot under my right thigh. I arch my back as much as I can, and then I begin my mantra: Ouch, oh, that hurts.

I did the exact same thing you may do. Bought the Smash/R, and after a 300 game with it, got the Frenzy, kept it shiny, and gives me a tamer reaction on drier conditions. Works great.
