Title: Some ingenuity and a soldering iron...
Post by: a_ak57 on January 18, 2005, 10:17:47 AM
Well, i was bored, and i have this old black target zone that was my first ever ball.  So since i can't sell it, i decided to have a little fun....

First (http://"http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v326/a_ak57/Vivalanation.jpg")

Second (http://"http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v326/a_ak57/Nationpwnz.jpg")

I plan to do a little bit more, but what else you think i should do with it.  I can't drop it off a building since A) i don't have a builing to do that and B) i live in suburbia and would be arrested and C) would cause a big mess.

So what else?

EDIT:  There is an AWESOME update down below.

PS- i wonder how people would react if i put that on the rack after i finish writing stuff?

you need a GF lol and or a job to waste your money earned on her instead of that. lol
and just a side note: what did that bowling ball ever do to you to deserve to be tattooed in such a poor fashion.

A tear for that bowling ball, lol but not for the kid with soft moisture rich hands and too much time on his hands

Dude, it took me less than 2 minutes to heat up the soldering iron and write it.

And the ball deserved it.  It kept complaining and b!tching that i didn't pay enough attention to it and kept accusing me of cheating on it with the other bowling balls.

I've discovered that a bowling ball will SEVERELY try to resist the force of a flathead screwdriver being moved back and forth to create a deep gash in it.

Btw, if anyone remembers what i did to my rhino pro x (the one i put in the oven at 450) I ended up dropping it off an abandoned 5 story building in downtown detroit, and amazingly, did not crack the core. I then attacked at the shell for a while, and now, all i have are a thumb slug and core left... its pretty sweet!

Fatboy, did you look at all 4 pics?

Right now i'm trying to etch a very deep groove in the ball with a flathead screwdriver, but it doesn't want to cooperate.  My goal is to get make a gouge deep enough to hit the core.

Here's some pride.  Not a funny one, but I like it.  I think it's art-ful.

Sunday sunday sunday!! (http://"http://img.photobucket.com/albums/v326/a_ak57/McNabb.jpg")

Whatcha think?  Is it alright for a soldering iron and a round bowling ball?

PS- anyone have any requests?  I'm running out of ideas of what to do.

Andy,

Just curious to know if you are like Linus and never go anywhere without your bowling blanket? That's what it looks like the ball is setting on.

Yeah it's a bowling blanket, I did that on purpose.  I don't even know where that blanket is now, it's been 6 months since I originally made this topic and that's the last time I used it...

since you won't want to try this in an oven (not yours anyways), how about build a bonfire around it and see if you can melt it to frisbee porportions?

might have to put it in an old pot.

Qstick, go to this link.  It will allow you to see posts from all the way up to 2 years ago.

http://www.ballreviews.com/Forum/Preferences.asp?ForumDays=730&NumOfItems=100&UseMessaging=1&submit1=Modify&save=1

It should say "update successful" on there somewhere.  Just close the window.

Actually, use the following link.  The other one makes it so that each page has 100 posts on it.  Use this for the standard 25 per page.
