Title: Spare Ball

I use a pretty beat up White Dot for most of my spares. I was wondering if any of you guys used a weak ball for spares but with more hitting power than a White Dot that could be used when the lanes are really dry. I have been running into more dry lanes lately. I was wondering about the Lane 1 XXXL. Any suggestions? Thanks

What is your style(stroker, tweener, cranker), Ball speed.

I am a stroker with better than average speed. I don't know the mile per hour.

You should get a HR HB

I cannot use this ball and get any hook out of it unless the lanes are dry

I am also a stroker and have medium ball speed, so it would work good for you.

since this question was placed on the brunswick forum i suggest you lok ata groove---a urethane ball by brunswick. more bite than a plastic ball but a lot less than a reactive ball. they come from the factory wetsanded and dull but you could polish one up very easily.

groove's a reactive...while good for burnt lanes, it's too hooky for me for spares.

No, the Power grooves are reactive.  The normal Groove is a urethane ball.
