Target zones are the cheapest.  Get a viz-a-ball, and sand it.  It becomes white.  That would be so cool to have.

Yes, he does.  But sanded viz-a-balls are cool.  Nobody has a white ball!

Apparently, Tony Reyes uses a polished Goliath for a spare ball!

I'd bet the Miller ones are Brunswick Viz-A-Balls.  I have the pink Hello Kitty one but I'm not drilling it for a while (call it an expensive paperweight)

It does not hurt the ball or reduce the size enough to even measure. I did one for my daughter and it does take a little work.  It took about 30 minutes to get it done right. It is awesome looking....maybe we should consider getting these out to the public like that. Hmmmmmm.

I traded my friend my sanded viz a ball for a NIB Angels ball. I've just been using my regular equipment to shoot spares.

What would the worth of a Chris Barnes Viz-A-Ball since he is currently off B-staff?  I think we still have one, and a Parker Bohn III Viz-A-Ball in the shop.

Hey now, I was never going to use the ball again.  I figured it would be a good conversation piece.  I don't know what I was thinking when I got it.  I left it dirty until I completely sanded the labels off.

The process I used to get mine to white was this...

Started with lane screen, cross sanded 2 ways.
Then went to 220, then cross sanded 320, then cross sanded 400, then cross sanded with 600, then finished sanding with 1000.
After that, high glossed it with Brunswick Factory Finish High Gloss.

It took about 30 minutes.

And yes, you can find some of the discontinued ones really cheap. I'm thinking of taking several of the ones in our shop that we've had for a few years and making them white....They will sell for sure.

Oh yeah, as far as plugging a viz, there is really no way to preserve the image.
