Brunswick Damage....I've got a feeling about this ball
« on: March 29, 2013, 10:48:42 PM »
OK, I know it's weird.  Before I drill anything I throw it....no holes, various pin positions, cg locations or drill angles if you may.

I have a guy even better at it than me and we get a great feel of push, angularity, midlane, early roll, and total hook.

Recently a very good bowler told me he loved this thing and couldn't understand what took him so long to pick it up.

I have an Avalanche with the Powerkoil 18 pearl and I loved the push and I wanted a touch more, total hook in the back.  Both of us think this ball is really going to be something on this lower volume  house shot!  It remains to be seen.

Direct,

That is too nice.  Don't go to the Storage shed for me!  Go only if you are planning on taking that Bad Boy out of moth balls!

I get the picture!  it is much appreciated!

a question for you all.  is this damage a damage zone?  Sort of teal in color?

Nope, this one is a recent product.  Not a Zone in title for this recent ball.

Hey yall please help!,

I just started bowling a few months ago, and have been using a plastic columbia 300 ball. Right now I mostly throw a straight ball, similar to walter ray williams. I been wanting to pick up a non plastic ball, and start to learn how to throw a hook.

I found a BRunswhick Damage on craigslist for 20$
http://images.craigslist.org/3E13F53Jc5I75L95Kcd413578b721e38517b9.jpg

I plan to pick it up tomorrow.

Do yall think its a good idea to plug and redrill the Damage. I really like the ball, and after reading this thread and seeing that there are so many other bowlers that love this ball, makes me want to use it badly.

THanks for the help,

ham

This is a great beginner ball. That layout likely won't get you much hook so I recommend you have a pro shop watch you throw the ball and recommend a layout. Good luck! Oh, and that's a great price.
