Title: Surface adjustment on Karma solid

Has anyone made an adjustment to the OOB 500 rough buff? I find it may be a little too strong for a medium to dry lane ball.
I am wondering if a polish would work, instead of changing the surface to 2000 or 4000 ...

If you add polish over the top of what is there you should see easier length through the heads. I would try that first.
Should it still be too strong, then take it back to 1000, then 2000, then polish. The more steps between the 500 and your finished surface the more length you should see on the lane.

The stock surface, according to the Brunswick web site, is 500 grit sanding, + Rough Buff + High gloss polish.
Did your Karma come that way???
Or did you change it already and now want to change it back?
The Anaconda and the Wicked Siege come with 500 grit + Rough Buff, not the Karma.

The Solid Karma we have in the shop is definitely not High Gloss Polish. It actually feels gritty.
Who needs a 300 or 800, when I have a 294 and a 295!?!?!

Then does anyone know if Brunswick changed the specification of the finish from what the web site shows: "500 Siaair Micro Pad; Rough Buff; High Gloss Polish"?

i just took a 4000 abralon over the top of the factory finish to tame it down a bit & it worked nicely. it rolled just a touch earlier & smoother backend i was looking for.
