In my hands the swarm was the more agressive of the two. My python gets me pretty decent length and has a sweeping motion to the pocket. I use it as my closing ball (in the middle of the 2nd game and 3rd). The swarm I threw was more up front and handled more oil, but I couldn't use it long, or I was playing extreme angles with it with zero carry. I didn't really care for the swarm that much to be honest, I love my python!

The cover of the Swarm will read a bit earlier and more smoothly than that of the Python, which responds faster to friction. Side-by-side the Python should be more angular at the break point.
