how strong/weak is the red silver slingshot this is the first shot I am drilling for a customer and the Dad wants it for dry lanes but he drilled a 300c and it was to too strong for his son and the 300c was drilled 5x3

My driller went with a very strong pin position and it is still quite weak for me.  I would think the 300C would be a lot stronger on the back compared to a Slingshot.

How was the 300C too strong? Backend, overall hook? Was it pin up or pin down? Weight hole or none? Weight hole location?

It was weird so we took it as one of those balls that happens once in a while it rolls like would have a 9 series cover on it reads the lane at 35ft and don't quite and it is pin up about 4in above his mid line with a 3/4 hole 2in deep. When he got me to watch his son roll it on a house shot and it was reading earlier and out hooking his Prodigy I took it in the shop and brought the cover up to 4000 then shined it up big time and it still started rolling around 38ft.

Where was the weight hole located?

Was there anything drilled similar in his bag to compare it to on the shot? It rolled sooner then the prodigy?

His pap is 4 1/8 over and hole is on his pap and to compare to he has changed his roll since he got the Prodigy his old pap was 3 over and 1 1/4 up but since the change the Prodigy is 5x3 pin down and Rogue is 5 1/4x 5 pin pin over middle finger

I'd go with a 60x 5" to 6"x70 witch should put the pin under the middle finger and the cg in the palm area and no weight hole depending on the pin distance of the ball. Should have plenty of length and a smooth backend.

Any idea on rev rate and ball speed?

I have one drilled with the pin 2 inches from my pap and the cg near the center of my grip.  It is great for drier lanes. I have a higher rev rate and the slingshot with this drilling allows me to play the right side of the lane without sacrificing carry on dry lanes.
