Although I have no prior experience with any incarnation of the Zone line, I'm most curious about the Smash Zone.

I am not a Big B person, but when I did use Brunswick it was the Red Alert!

From what I've seen, though the Vapor Zone seems to be king, right now.

My all time favorite Zone the ProZone Violet ...on many oilier conditions I could not miss the pocket.  Many many many scores of 258 and over!

Unfortunately it would leave ringing 7 pins.  Traded it to a righty and he drilled it mirror image and he said same thing....he OWNED the pocket on some oilier conditions and would carry carry carry light then flush....ring!

Pin below ring stacked 2 inch pin out maximum.

REgards,

Luckylefty
PS thanks Pegleg for the reply on the Red Zone....any others like it your pin up pin down set up?
PPS second favorite the Impact Zone...talk about reaction and hit!  IMPACT...and then the Battle Zone Bullet all variations of the SAME core!--------------------

My favorite was a polished strike zone, too strong oob, but shined up its was one of the sweetest pieces i've ever owned

Mine is pin up above the bridge which puts it 5 inches from my pap and the mass bias is kicked out at around 35 degrees.Very good ball on many of the sport shot/PBA patterns and also had some luck at Nationals with it in Reno.
quote:
Was speaking to a friend regarding Red Zone recently....for the people who say they like it....where is pin  above or below fingers?  Dull or Polished?

Mine is pin above with polish!  One of the worst over under balls I've had.

My friend says...."oh that ball...must be pin down".

Your insite appreciated.
