RICO 1 ON AI
« on: April 15, 2005, 01:46:53 AM »
After reading all the hype on this topic I decided to try it myself. Punched up an AI, 2" pin. Ended up with 5/8 oz pos side (no bal. hole), 1/2 oz finger, with an ending top wt. of 1 oz. Threw about 10 balls prior to league on fresh shot (42 ft buff THS) and I must say I was surprised with the ball's movement.
It is as smooth as any ball I've thrown, no herky jerky, just smooth, predictible and continious through the pin deck. At the break point it has a hard arcing move that continues until the ball runs off the end of the pin deck. My S&A is more skid and very hard turn,so angular I shoot a bunch of 9's but it becomes a bit harder to control as the night progresses, where as the AI with this drill pattern is much more predictible and reads the mids better. Now I have to decide on which to use on the THS. Thanks for the "push" Nick....

This is definately the ball the go to when the midlane is spotty and harder to read. Adding an X-hole will further help the arc off the breakpoint.

Basically, what Ric is saying is... drill a Brunswick ball like this and you'll get the chicks!
