Ultra Zone questions
« on: August 19, 2008, 10:16:51 AM »
Hey everyone, I just got an Ultra Zone and was wondering what's a good strong layout for a backend reaction. I'm no good with layouts so I was hoping someone could help me out.

Here are my stats:

Right Handed cranker with high ball speed. Over 400 revs(410-415), 17-18 mph, high tracker. Span-from middle finger 4 11/16, from ring 4 15/16

my pap is 5x0 and if it were mine I'd try 5" pin down, psa @ 45.the reaction I would be looking for is some length and a smooth rolly reaction off the dry, probably would end up with some polish.that phantom core is real strong though, just my thoughts.I don't put alot of a/r on the release so I tend to favor the strong M.B. stuff.

read my review on the ball.  Ive had it about 3 month or so and love it.  I have used it on all the pba patterns execpt the viper and the ball is money.  It is smooth and easy to read.  I dont drill using pap so i cant help you there.  The pin is about an inch up and just right of the ring finger.  Mb is about 2 inches to the right of the thumb.  I am a light cranker with good ball speed and the ball is money for me

If your ball speed is 17-18 mph, and you're not bowling in the desert, getting the Ultra down the lane should be pretty easy.
I'd suggest maybe putting the pin 4-4 1/2" from the PAP above the fingers and the MB between 45 & 55 degrees. Good luck.
