What the Hell is a Burgundy Zone?  I've searched numerous sites and really cannot get any info on this ball.  Anyone wanna clue me in?

I think it was the first "Zone" from Brunswick

They probably mean one of the original Zones or one of the Pro Zones, that would be my guess.

BNick or BCreep any ideas...

My guess would be the original Red Zone, the solid that was released at the same time as the Black Amber.  J_Mac's link will get you the information, although the picture doesn't do justice to the ball.

That was the only place I could find anything whatsoever about the ball.  And then, just to make things worse, they had to show the wrong ball.  I've got an opportunity to pick up a low mileage used one.

Yup The Burg Zone and the Black Amber were the first 2 Zones way back when.  I had them both, the Burg Zone was crap dull but awesome shiny. It was long and strrong on the backend for the conditions at the time.  Reaction was similar to that of a Smokin on todays conditions.  The Black Amber was much more smooth rolling and better on dry lanes.  It would probably make a good spare ball now.  The Sappire was the next Zone and it made the other 2 obsolete.
