Total Inferno coverstock?

Hey Big B fans, I'm about to have a new TI drilled up in a couple days but I am wondering if anyone knows what the Octane Gription coverstock is comprised of.  It looks like it is not a true pearlized ball and possibly has a light particle load.  Or is this more of a hybrid coverstock?

The "Gription" additive works like a particle additive. Increased friction on the mid-lane and through carry-down. Mine was drilled pin down, as I recall, and it probably would have been better for me had I tried a pin above layout.

I still had three honor scores with mine, but I still can't figure out how. Mine was super smooth, but I've heard of others who had quite an angular reaction, so I suspect theirs was probably pin above the fingers, etc.

Thanks Lane, I appreciate the feedback.  I had the ball drilled this afternoon and took it out for a test drive.  Mine doesn't get the angular move on the backend, just super smooth and plows through the pins. I'm anxious to roll it tomorrow night during my Wed league.  I have a 4" pin out ball so I had it laid out with pin right of the ring finger and a balance hole to take some thumb wt out to make it legal.

From what Ive been told is its kind of like a light Pearl and Particle mix if that makes sense
I just drilled another one that I got NIB
drilled it basically like a label drilling
CG in the palm
and pin to the right of the ring finger

I absolutely love this ball it is my best heavy oil ball that I have
I havent had any luck with the new hook monsters that come out
they are just too strong for me no matter what condition or shot it out
I love the total inferno on heavy and long patterns

For me, this ball HAD to have oil is the heads or it was DOA at  the pins.

Had mine 5" ptp..
