Title: twisted fury or storm shift
Post by: tfav44 on December 05, 2007, 05:30:11 AM
I am getting ready to add a new ball to my arsenal and i am debating on the twisted fury and the storm shift. I have a old eraser boost that i use on dry shots and a pearlized hot rod on medium oil. looking for something more aggressive. my stuff is drilled to skid flip. any thoughts?

TWISTED FURY

I'm gettin' old, I'm hurtin', but I've got Brunswick balls.......Color me competitive.

Well, if you're looking for the most aggressive of the 2, then you're better off with the Shift. The Twisted Fury is definitely more tame.

I've got to agree with Ric on this one...while I love Storm stuff, the original Shift was a more condition specific ball than I ever thought it was going to be.

Threw my Twisted tonight.  Drilled it up 10 minutes before league had just enough time to polish it up. This ball has more backend than any ball I have thrown from Brunswick. I have owned every Inferno made as well as anything newer they have released in the last 4 years. If I got light on speed the balls was Brooklyn very quickly. I will hit it with 4000 abralon and Re-polish and se how it reacts Friday night. On a note anytime I hit the pocket there was no doubt. I have a slower ball speed around 15 but this ball gave more messengers than i have seen in a few years.

what kind of drilling do you have on yours?  I was thinking a label drill on mine, due to my slow speed/hi revs, but in oob finish.

If you're thinking of the shift, then the sidewinder is worth a look, I think.
