Twisted Fury Core
« on: March 10, 2008, 02:01:15 AM »
Are there any plans for more balls with the Twisted Fury Core?....And if so, does anyone have any idea when, plus details of the conditions the ball(s) will be for?

Well, logic would say that they would have a more aggressive solid version, but seeing as how they already have an asymmetric line in the Zones, I'd say it won't stay long unless they found something they really liked with it.

How can they only make one ball and quit with a cover and core as successful as the twisted core? I hope they stay with this core like they did the inferno core as this core and cover combination really matches up to my style. As far as an asymmetric core, a lot of companies have more than one asymmetric core.

It's marketing more than anything.  I'm sure they'll keep going with it, but if their high performance line was asymmetric, and their Zone line was asymmetric . . see what I mean?  I'm sure that they're really taking a good look at the differences and similarities of the Ultra Zone and the Twisted, since they both have asymmetric cores, but like chris said, the diff and rg are different, but the cover is the same, although has its differences as well.  It's all pure speculation at this point, and I could be way off, but that's just the way I'm looking at it.  Brunswick is really good at reinvention, and improving and building on what they've done.  Obviously they found something great in the Twisted, seeing as how it's been a while since they had a high performance asymmetric.  Maybe EnMotion matches up better with asymmetric cores?  Who knows.  Either way, they won't tell us anything until they're allowed to release the information, at which time I'm sure they'll let us all know seeing as how people were ready for the next ball the day after the Twisted hit.

I'm beginning to think Chris is bipolar.

I'd love to see a solid version of this ball to handle the upper end of oil volumes. Right now, I have the Fury which is a great ball, but somewhat touchy.

What I like is that I can put a strong layout on the ball and still get decent length as welll as great midlane roll and a nice move to the pocket.

To date, the best BigB ball I've owned..

Doesn't look like Big B is in the solid cover business right now. Everything since the Fury has been pearl or hybrid (or hybrid with particle). They are due.

I was kinda wondering where that came from too.  It's even worse that I agree with him . .
