Rumor has it around here...(RUMOR, like i said) that it's going to be a solid reactive, asymmetrical torsion core.

Lesson learned then, stick around bowlingchat.net
I'm not going to spew the info on here
There isnt anything in it for me, the site is run on donations with no ads.

Do you really think any information is going to be posted on here for everyone to see?

We've had Storm, Brunswick, 900 Global and Banger reps in there, do you think this site is for kids or something?

I'm astonished at the egotism and ignorance of your post.

If you aren't going to share what ever info you gained, don't post here to rub people's noses in it.  That's exactly the attitude that we were talking about in the "most obnoxious group" post a few weeks ago.  Lane1 used to have the crown, but the Brunswick zombies knocked it off quite some time ago.  Of course, many staffers don't have any real inside info anyway.  In case you haven't noticed, we still have a great many reps that post here.  The main benefit of a forum is that the information stays around.  Once a chat is over, the info is gone.  Although BR has gone through many changes, there have been countless chat and forum sites that have come and gone over the years.  Maybe your will survive, maybe it won't.  Time will tell.

I'm not surprised by this statement, afterall everyone knows which mould you're made from, and one of the many people now looking in from the outside.

Stop complaining and hatin, you know where to go for the inside info now, its just up to you now to go there for it.

That's why chats are inferior to forums.  If I join a chat a day after important info is given, I'm out of luck.  If I join a forum a day later, I can still find it.

Exactly what mould am I made from?  Come right and say it if you actually have something to say.  I'm not "hatin".  I have never wished bad for your or any other site.  I'm just not a chat person.  But I'm certainly not going to waste half of my life going to a chat in hopes for a glimpse of info that can be found other places and that will still be around afterwards.  I barely have time to come here, let alone the other quality bowling sites I used to frequent.

No profile.....no credibility.

Maybe it's just that Bones (and many, many others) offers thought provoking topics that encourage civilized discussion and well-thought-out points.  But, you must get a lot of that in the chat rooms, so intelligent conversation here must be too much of an overload for you.

Do you need a resume to encourage banter about bowling, strategies, mental game, comparisons to other sports we may or may not participate in?

I think that bowlers here will gladly offer you the link to their "resumes" on bowl.com if asked, if they don't currently have them on their profiles now.  Plus, we have our own resident pro on here that shares his experiences with us pretty regularly.  Perhaps you've heard of him.  His name is Jeff Carter.

IDK,

I don't get it.  Do you like this site or not?  It seems like you were bashing the regulars on here and calling for resumes and the great bowlers, yet it also seems like you are defending it and are kinda anti-chat room.

I tried to bring this up in another thread under misc.  But where are the resumes of these great bowlers?  I have read all of sawbones threads and can't comprehend why everyone thinks so highly of him.  Was he an old pro or something?  And who the hell is Jeremy Vitug, T Brockette, Bracket Creep, etc.  Something tells me these are just guys hanging around in the chat room.  Let me know when Fred Borden and Billy Hardwick hang out there, then I will finally say it is a great place.

Since my name was brought up, let me say that I would not even consider myself an after thought to the guys you mentioned. But I do like to contribute to the conversation and try, although with my limited knowledge to help when asked. As for Sawbones, I know for a fact he is in the Oklahoma bowling hall of fame, and I believe he is the oldest person to ever bowl an 800.

What does that mean, where would it fit in the FURY lineup? Below the Pearl Fury (light-mediums) or between Pearl Fury + Original Fury (medium-heavies)?

I'm confused as to how it lets you stay close to the friction instead of the oil, but also be strong off the spot?

Title: Re: Twisted Fury???

I am confused also.  It sounds like a Pearl Fury reaction, clean thru the front and strong off the breakpoint.  Does it mean, when its designed for the bowler to stay closer to friction? Cuts thru carrydown or ???  thanks.

So, since this thread got back on the Twisted Fury release, it is due out the middle to end of November. It is a red, black, silver pearl 'NEW' reactive cover with a NEW Asymmetrical core. It is designed to allow the bowler the opportunity to stay closer to the friction instead of being forced more into the conditioner. Early reports is that it clean through fronts and much stronger off the spot, than any other Brunswick ball. I will be doing testing this Wednesday and Thursday of this week with staffers, as well as the Twisted will be introduced and available at the Masters this week.

northface28 every new ball is suppose to go longer and hook more then the last.

The Fury pearl was suppose to be the hardest backending ball from Brunswick ever, now they say the new ball will....and the new ball after this Twisted Fury will be marketed to hook more then the Twisted.

Simple marketing

Fury
Fury Pearl
Blast Zone
Sidewinder
Twisted Fury

Am I missing anything? Maybe they released another ball out of sequence because there was only 1 BVP ball this year?

MB Diff. = .023

Hmm...lower differential with strong MB...should be rather angular!

It looked really good in Johnny Petraglia's hands yesterday in Masters practice.  Longer and stronger than the Pearl Fury, as I think was expected.  Johnny seemed excited about it.

I got the following reaction figures from a good source:

Hook 115
Length 105
Backend 80
Diff 0.036
Avg. RG 3,8

Rough Buff Finish

Appears as if we are going back to something like the Zone Classic or original Inferno? Not a bad move, even though I still wait for a simple Activator ball with the Rocket core in the BVP line... Would probably do the same, just with a smaller price tag

MegaMav,

I don't have anything against you but your attitude is terrible.  How is it right to pimp your site in someone else's forum continually and then tell people you have information you won't give them and if they want it they better have learned their lesson and should use your site?

That's not right at all.  If you're going to use BallReviews.com resources to advertise for your site I think you owe it back to the site to inform people of information you might have learned on your site.  And it's a chat room opposed to a forum so whatever information you have isn't persistent in the first place.

But seriously, man, pimping your site relentlessly on someone else's forum and then scolding others for not being logged into your site using their resources is immoral.

Honestly, if I ran this forum I would have banned you by now for using it to advertise your site over and over and then power trip on people for not using your site instead of this (and declaring this site is essentially garbage...yours is the new breed).  That's not right at all.  You should just not say anything.
