Twisted/Cover changes
« on: January 02, 2008, 02:50:09 PM »
I love my Twisted Fury, but it seems like it starts hooking a little too late.  What would dull it enough to make it rev up a little sooner?  Does this ball respond well to surface changes?  Thanks for all responces,

Zach

Yeah, it responds really well to surface changes.  You have it at box right now?

Yes.  At the moment it's at box finish.

Yeah, i think it responds to surface change very much as HamPster said. My Twisted Fury at box finish ran toooo long. I didnt really see any hook from my Twisted Fury. So I sanded it with 800 grit as Brunswick recommanded, but now it hooks too early. I dont know what to do now. Used layout #3.

i have one at 2000 and one at box...its sick how much the one at 2000 hooks, it didnt lose any length but man does it "pop" in the backend...they really complement each other well...

The new enmotion coverstock is very cover adjustment friendly.

So try 1200 grit or 1500 grit. Go up the chain until you hit what you need.

The pin high one from my video, it lets me play even deeper than what you see in the video but it still rounds the corner just as nice.
