twisted fury surface prep
« on: February 28, 2008, 05:04:56 AM »
I just took the polish off my twisted and dulled it up with 600 grit and i like it better. the story is i was bowling well with the box finish, but the lanes got very snappy so i polished it up thinking to delay the hook, went into a severe slump. started talking to others who own the twisted and found that most who polished found the ball inconsistant, dull it up and happy days are here again.

I too had changed the surface of my Twisted to 4000 abralon with polish. I orginally changed surface to get a  the ball to go longer. Started to suffer from alot of over under. Took the ball back as close as I could to out of box.(500abrlon plus rough buff) Much happier with the ball with more surface.
