Ball to Work w/ Twisted Fury...

I know this has probably been posted 1000 times, but, I was wondering what a good ball from Brunswick would be to go with my Twisted.  I would be looking for a ball that can handle medium oil with a decent back end.  I throw with decent speed and decent revs (I've never had them measured so I can't give exacts).  I really like the enMotion coverstock on the Twisted, but, I don't have to have it.  I'm thinking the Ultra Zone?  Any other thoughts?

The Ultra Zone is meant to go with the TF.  It will hook a little sooner and can handle oil.  I know my TF can handle the oil, so the UZ can too.  You could get the Ultimate Inferno that they just re-released and put a little weaker dill on it or a label drill.

I have the Ultra Zone and Twisted Fury and they do compliment each other very well. Go with the Ultra Zone.

I know that they aren't available but you can still find some around, but I have found that the Absolute Inferno and Twisted Fury are a great 1-2 punch and compliment each other very nicely.  Scott

I love my Twisted and know you asked about another Brunswick ball, but if you can't find one to do what you want, look at the AMF Heist. I too was looking for a Brunswick ball to compliment my Twisted a couple month ago when I came across a deal too good to pass up on the AMF Heist. I was a bit hesitant about buying a Heist, but I tried it anyhow and am overly happy I did it. For me, these two balls compliment each other extremely well.

The Ultra is awesome. Two Ultras - one strong with the factor finish and another drilled weaker with polish is also a great combination. The Ultra is very versatile, so it would be a perfect companion to the Twisted. You just tweak the cover to provide the look you want.

I'd go with the Ultra over the Vapor as well.  For me, the Vapor had a pretty severe inside limitation;  once I got far enough left to where I had to give away the pocket, it was Ping City.  I don't have that problem with the Ultra;  in fact, it seems to get *better* as I get deeper with it on the lane.

I agree that the Ultra Zone is the more versatile ball. More backend that the Absolute or Vapor Zone. I got the Twisted so that I could play up the boards longer before making adjustments and it allows me to do just that. I also find if my Ultra is going to long I can pull out my Red Zone and it reads the lane a little sooner. The difference between a solid reactive coverstock and hybrid. Don't dismiss the Fury Pearl if you are looking for a ball that goes long and strong. You can build a very good arsenal with Brunswick equipment.
