Anyone have experience using the Rhino Pro LE?
« on: January 04, 2006, 03:47:24 AM »
I have an opportunity to purchase a used Rhino Pro LE.  I have no idea what this ball will do, or know anyone that has used this ball.  How does this ball compare to a Rhino Pro Teal?

It's one of my favorite balls of all time.  Low RG and a high flare potential.  I used to go to tournaments with at least 3 back in the day It hooked a lot more than the original Teal, especially on carry down.  My teammate in league still throws his (originally mine from 10 years ago) and scores well with it.  He has a lot of hand and the ball still rolls well.  It gives him a very smooth roll, something like the original Saphire Danger Zone.

I wouldn't expect it to be a big hooker on todays oils but it has the Powerkoil 17 cover so don't be surprised at how much it can hook.

If you are talking about the Navy Blue.. BUY IT!!!  That ball was absolutely sick as far as versatility and predictability. It also was pretty strong back in the day so it would probably do well on todays pattrens as well.  A great ball for sure!!   beans

Nice heavy roll ball for me. I had it drilled pin negative and used it up the twig alot even on some sport shots not too long ago. Can't go wrong if price is right. I gave mine away to a high school program when I stopped doing tournaments.
