I saw on an international bowling page on facebook that a brown looking Phantom was being released.  But who knows if that is only intl or domestic too.

It would sit e nice if they bring back the inferno line, that's all that's missing... not bad to hope/dream.   ::)

Anyone know what ball Jason Sterner threw in the step-ladder finals for the Japan Cup? Before this thread started I swore the ball in his hand said Phantom but I thought...nah...and then I see this...so....????

I would assume the Forest Green and Fire Pearl Quantums are Brunswick's vintage balls brought back this bowling season even though they didn't go in the vintage ball line. With the next two releases being the True Nirvana and Fanatic SS there probably won't be anything else until June or July.

June or July? You're kidding right

These companies are releasing faster and faster. There will be something announced in March/early April with a may release date at the latest.

Storms getting just as bad...

Thanks for the clarification on the ball Sterner used.

As for the new Quantums, my understanding is the Quantum series is their own line, separate of the Vintage series, etc.

Nah, it's been like that the past couple of years. I think the release schedules have pretty much stabilized now. Brunswick's is slightly different than that of the DV8 and Radical brands. The Quantums released on 11/1/2016 while the True Nirvana and Fantastic SS release on 2/7/2017. That's just over 3 months. So going three months after the last date for the next batch would put it in June around the same time that the Rhinos dropped last year. Probably shouldn't have went as far as to mention July, but I feel good about the June predicition.

Thanks for the clarification on the ball Sterner used.

They were the start of the Pro Performance category, but I meant it as more like there really isn't any more time left for Brunswick to get a new Vintage ball out this season. Not if the next new batch of unknown releases are dropping in June which is pretty much the next bowling season. And since the Quantums are a ball that's being brought back I think they're hit their quota for that mold this year.

For Radical, not Brunswick. In particular I think he was talking about a ball that might compare to the Hy-Road and Gamebreaker 2 lines so that should be pretty interesting.

Right on. But the dv8/radical releases are anounced within a week or two of Brunswick's, typically, if not all at the same time.

The pitbull/vandal/diva style and cash Xeno pearl were just announced at the new year.

So no vintage line release this year? The last 3 have been in feb....... The quantums are in the pro performance line....or are the quantums the vintage release? If so, why wouldnt they be put in the vintag line?   I pray and pray for the absolute inferno or vapor zone to hit the vintage line.
